Swiss Day in Sydney

Unplanned coincidence. Fritz and Ulrika travelling around the world just happened to be in Sydney at the same time as I. So we sat the evening together enjoying excellent food and revealing and reflecting the main priorities and secrets in life

Alltag in Sydney

Instead of here I studied at The Tech University in Helsinki

Beautiful Sydney.
One can't see it so well because the ladies are preventing the sight

On my way to Rose Bay by Ferry

Diana and her coffee making specialist son Diego.
First time meeting with swiss customer in Australia.
Diana described her experiences of how to and how not become integrated in the Australian community. This made me remember my first 2 years abroad in London some 40 years ago. Nobody spoke about integration. We just came there and lived there. Then someday you feel you've experienced and seen enough and then you go to the next country. All we were aware of then was that we didn't want to return to Finland.

I saw "Flying Foxes" first time in my life. That's what they mean by hangout?

Walking around in Cairns after one week in that area I suddenly realized that I felt more at home there than in Zurich after 35 years. I will start looking at Zurich differently. To feel as a guest in your home town is not healthy. It upsets me that I never noticed it before. Every visit there is connected with the feeling I don't belong there. An example of lack of integration. This I will change.

So I wonder which surprises will meet me in 2018....

The food was delicious
