Green Island GBR Diving

This was the day I did the Refresh dive to get used to diving again. Last time was 2 1/2 years ago in Bali. Since then a lot has happened to me. I wanted to prove to myself, I can still do it.

And I survived. It was the Great Barrier Reef (GBR). But it was grey. It seems to have greater problems with surviving than I believe I have at the moment. Sad.

There are not many doctors for Barrier Reefs. But there are people who grow corals and place them into the see so that they can hopefully thrive again. It takes years.

We enginesailed out to the island

I had warned Philip about the burning sun under the ozone hole above australia. By a mishap I spent 20 minutes in the sun without any sunscreen whilst waiting for them picking me up to the boat.

I got a red face and had nourished my basaliom.
So now I sunscreen myself at least 3 times daily with 50+ even when sitting in the shadow.
